I would like to ask why it is that when I go to click on Samples and open them, most are done in Joomla and when I try to convert the theme to WordPress it often takes away the images and guts it. That being said, I still love Artisteer despite some of these odd quirks and use it to develop websites for customers here in Denver, Colorado.

What theme did you use to create this slider effect? I didn't see that anywhere with Artisteer. I've seen the slider in other WordPress themes, but not in Artisteer yet. :-(

Sorry I typed the 1st link wrong, here is the correct link::
http://www.procadtraining.co.za

Also, to my dismay I now see that the http://www.afritects.com website design has been completely changed by the client . I was so proud of the design!
:-(
Oh well, nothing I can do about it I guess. For the sake of reference, here are 2 screenshots of my original design:

Well, this slider is a plugin of Wordpress called Easy Rotator.
Don't come with Artisteer software (sorry my bad english)
Cheers.

@ Lamont

Content management systems like Wordpress consider themes and content(and images) two separate entities, Artisteer create themes and you need to input content(and images) from your Wordpress admin. The content you see while creating a theme is dummy and is just for illustration purpose only.

However you can design/add your content in HTML website mode in Artisteer and copy/paste it to Wordpress manually as following: http://www.artisteer.com/Default.aspx?post_id=181385&p=forum_post

ddye,

Your sites look awesome, along with everyone elses! What plug-ins does everyone like? I keep wondering in particular how some people are getting boxes to appear in the middle of the screen, which I assume is being accomplish via some sort of plug-in.

My sites definitely pale in comparison--as a total and complete newbie--with no coding or even wordpress experience as of 2 months ago--so I guess I have to be happy with my creations:

http://commercial-air-conditioning-refrigeration.com (first site I made)

and

http://ice-machine-repair.com (second)

I am still trying to work out numerous glitches and edit content itself, which was thrown together and still needs editing.

Any suggestions for improvement from this list of old pros greatly appreciated!!

Does anyone know how to create block content spaces inside the content section using WordPress themes like the ones you can create using HTML?

Good Buy Timeshare is actually a Joomla site (1.5). It uses the standard Joomla login. I should have used a link to the companion site I built: http://www.goodbyetimeshare.com/

My bad.

Also, the old link to the shopping cart site we're building at http://richmondmediatestserver2.info/ in the post above was so slow that we moved it to:
http://richmondmediatestserver.info/

Somewhat faster, but those cheap GoDaddy economy hosts we develop sites on are still really slow. We hope to have it live on the client's dedicated server within a week.

It's on a testing server right now while we warp it up.

Hi Ddye,

Hi, speedyp,

Thanks. The content is a combination off the top of my head, and provided, and copied from their old sites.

Mine doesn't get the highest mileage because of my off beat sense of humour.
A water treatment site decided against my:
"So water you waitng for! Call today!"
And a siding company opted not to use:
"Call 555-555-5555. You'll be clad you did." :-)

Well Lisa, you forget something. In these forums, we are all programmers, web designers, computer experts etc. Maybe some of us are not having much experience, but the fact is that you choose the WRONG site to advertise your services.

You better try your local newspaper

Wow, that site is so old it doesn't even have Templateer installed... I added the image in the CSS, here:

.sheet-body
{
position: relative;
padding-top:170px;
padding-bottom:12px;
background-image: url(images/body_bgnd.png);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center top;
padding-right: 12px;
padding-left: 12px;
}
