I am designing a website for client. He does not want to extend the page and footer to the bottom of the screen.
No problem if you do not add a sidebar. You can let the page nicely float in the middle of the screen.
But by adding a sidebar, the page and footer extends automatically to the bottom of the screen, independent of how much text is placed inside.
Question: how to maximize the height of the sidebar so that is page (and footer) does not extend to the bottom of the screen??
Any ideas how to solve this ??
