Three columns layouth: auto text width, if sidebar2 is empty.
How need I change the CSScode, if I want full width for the articles, placed on pages, where the right sidebar empty is?
The template has normally 3 colums, left, content, right. Some pages uses only 2 colums, left ( eg. menu) and the article, I have nothing in the rigth position. Artisteer lets now the place " right" empty, how can I increase the text width, automatic?
I tired width =580px to change width auto: no success.
Any idea?

yes you can, and it is easy........if your theme is for wordpress.
Install the wordpress plugin wp-cycle. Open the theme editor in your wordpress control panel, chose the header.php file.

Search for the <div class="art-header-jpeg"> insert wp cycle, and your line should be like this

<div class="art-header-jpeg"><?php wp_cycle(); ?></div>

save it.

Open the plugin and select setting for wp cycle, upload your images, and select the transition and time.........you can use as many as you like.....

It woks perfect.......takes 5 min and it is not flash, people with iPad can see your header change........

@ ryan

You need to create a widget area in header for it, instructions from following thread may be helpful: http://www.artisteer.com/?post_id=177776&p=forum_post&topicsPage=2&forum_id=13

I know this is a bit old, but I was wondering if this is still possible with the current version. I've tried it and the slider works, but it stretches and distorts the images even though the slider settings and the images used are the same size as the header image area.

If I can not do it this way, can you suggest another method that will accomplish this effect that will work for mobile devices such as IPads and Iphones.

I can't afford to wait till Artisteer releases their new version since we have no idea when this will be.

The site I am trying to do this on is located here: http://www.votait.com/hosted-mtb/

I would thing you need larger images. Your trying to take a 300 x 200 and make it 1000 x 300. Try using larger images and see how it looks.

The original images were 1000x300, maybe the slider software resized them, I'll try uploading them again. Thanks for you help Jrgweb.

Hi,

There is a slideshow option in Artisteer now. Under the Header tab you can add slides.

Best regards,
Tanya

Hello, how can I easy decide the layout for coming posts in Artisteer? I suppose I can but I wonder where I do it? For the moment all pages are nice and ok designed in Artisteer BUT.. after the theme is uploaded to Wordpress it is time for "posts". For the moment the posts are without margins etc. and a very simple layout. Where can I change that in Artisteer or afterwords in css? Please help!
