OK, does anyone know the dimensions/spec for the built-in backgrounds/glares etc in Artisteer?
id love to be able to add my own glares etc, but just want to base them on the same spec as the ones already in the software
(maybe someone at Artisteer would be kind enough to offer us one blank 'template' image for each - background, header, glare? so we had something to work from)

Export a theme with a glare and then find the image in the images folder and check its dimensions.

@ Mark C - I was wondering the same thing as MayClem72 and your suggestion is just perfect. It makes sense.
Don't know why I was trying to overthink it - thank you!

Mark C - You can't open the Artisteer program files in photoshop, they are 'protected'
Would be cool if Artisteer offered us duplicate files that we could play with as zip files to download from here

Yep, I tried to open the PNGs in PS also to no avail - the problem is I'd like to make some of my own (using brushes, etc) and it's really hit or miss but I've not been able to get it quite right.
I'd love to see the PNGs, size, etc - I see when exporting the file - it's flattened with the header/background sheet (depending on where you put it, etc)

K, what is/are the dimensions?

Artisteer may be resizing them according to dimensions of template you are creating, simple way is to export a sample template and check the size of desired image from images folder of exported template.

Some time ago I spotted a video on YouTube of how to create your own glares, etc. Why not give it a shot and search on YT and see if they are still there.
