I reported these to support already, but wanted to post here as well so someone might be able to verify the issues I've run into using the 3.0 RC1 with DNN skins.
I'm running into two issues when exporting skins:
1. The control panel doesn't show.
There is space for it and the code is there....but it's hidden. This can be resolved my modifying the z-index for two divs in the CSS...but you should not have to manually do this.
2. When I export a skin using the DNN Menu no menu shows.
It exports the menu, but it's missing classes and some code. I've received inconsistent results here, even on the same portal.
If someone gets a chance to verify this please posts here and open a support ticket so they know it's more than one report.

I do have the same problem with the DNN Menu.
The artisteer 3.0 has the DNN Menu included and generated. But some how the DNNMenunavigationprovider doesnt work and my menu doesnt show up.
If i remmove the property ForceDownLevel="True" in the DNN tag for the menu i ca nsee the menu but the skin is not applied.
Let me know of some one faces the same issue.
FYI
My computer runs on 64 bit windows 7 and the browser is IE9.

I downloaded a trial of AT 3.0 RC1 and I can confirm that Menus are not showing and I can't save the project as well.
I also noticed that when I apply the theme/skin, things gets messed up in my portal!
AT 2.6 also has this issue so I am guessing that they are not compatible with DNN 5.6.1???

Similar issues. When I install an artisteer version 3 skin with dnnmenu on dnn 5.6.3, the horz or vert menu does not display. If I use the version 3 ArtMenuSO then the menus will display however, any other portals using a skin that was created in an earlier version of Artisteer (2.x) will lose their css styles and render as plain ul's and li's. I had to revert to the previous version of ArtMenuSO to keep the majority of my sites rendering correctly. Seems I can't use ArtMenuSO (3.0) with version 2.x skins.

Follow up to my above post. The support staff helped me identify what I was doing wrong with the DNN menu and version 3.0.
I had the "Enable Skin Widget" option shut off in the portal settings which disabled JQuery, which in turn caused the DNNMenu not to display correctly. Once that switch was turned back on, the DNN Menu displayed exactly like it was suppose to.
Thanks to all the support staff that helped me out on this!!!
