How about a How-to Magazine?

I came across a website from HP today, it is quite simple we create a magazine, pay for a single draft, then they set a production price, we uplift the price with a shared commission of say cost plus $2-$3.

Is there any requirement to produce a pictorial "for dummies" style magazine and or a tips and tricks magazine for using "Artisteer 3", these are printed by HP as hard copies and sent out within 14 days.

We could use our websites and social media etc: to market with working code primers for experienced developers, by giving overviews and refering to the magazine for the full detailed solution, and a way to download the files.

I for one prefer to work with a printed reference sheet, rather than on screen, and I would pay $9.99 for a publication like this, am I in a minority?

Anyone else interested in having a go at producing something, it will be an experience if nothing else, there must be some way to earn a little for sharing knowledge?

I think it's a great idea, Dave, but I'm afraid I would be a consumer and not a contributor.

I think this is a good idea, bringing together the best bits from the forum as well as some tips and tricks for further customising themes once created in Artisteer.

It would also be a good idea to split it into sections - basic, intermediate and advanced, depending on how comfortable people are with hacking code.

The main thing for me would be to be able to cut and paste code, rather than key it in and risk getting it wrong!

Happy to help if I can contribute.
