This is probably a noob question, but here goes:

When I have horizontal menu button that are links to other pages on my HTML template, how do I change their names to reflect my actual pages?

I mean from the standard ones that show up like "Home", Next Page", etc.

I couldn't find any place in the "Menu" section to change the text.

Thanks

No worries, this is easy...

You will see the pages (New Page & New Page2 when you first start) on the left of the Artisteer interface.
Either Right Click on the one you want to rename and select rename
or
Use highlight the one you want to rename and use the standard Windows rename key F2

@----> Davo,

When I first start v2.5. and the thing pops up that asks me what I want to do, it doesn't give me the option to select "webpage", just "Blooger or Blog" only.

Of course, all the others are there....Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, HTML Page, etc.

AND, I don't see anything that says "New Page..." etc.

I can't get right-click to work anywhere in Artisteer.

AAARRGGGHH Sorry - I assumed you were on 3.0
(A good reason to always post what version you are using ! )

But the answer now is, that you have to edit the HTML manually with 2.5
OR
Wait for the final 3.0
OR
Try the latest 3.0 beta that was updated a few hours ago...

@-----> Davo,

Thanks for all your help.

No offense to Artisteer, but it says right on their homepage "No having to do code or HTML"

Where do I find the latest 3.0 beta that was updated a few hours ago?

Also, when (if you know) will the FINAL (non beta) version of Artisteer 3.0 be out?

Thanks

Ok, I found 3.0

However, I have 3.0 on my home machine, and I still am unable to right-click anywhere. When I right-click, nothing happens.

Also, still unable to edit the menu names on my home 3.0 version.

I installed the "updated" version of 3.0 and it installed fine.

When I tried to start the program, I got the above error.

What in the world does That mean?

OK, firstly the error I'm not sure about - I have seen discussion on this error that mentions WebKit before - you might want to go to the support page and create a new Case, so Artisteer are aware of this...

On the original issue (once you get 3 going)...

1. Make sure you have selected 'WebSite or Blog'
2. The image below shows you what to look for...
