After two days and reading a lot of forum news, the editing problem of the templates is soluted. Also, when you edit the source code of the template, the code will no longer be scrambled. Here is how it works:

1. Create a template with Artisteer 3 (download on the website)
2. Save it as "Website or Blog"
3. Download and open "Kompozer - //kompozer.net
4. Open the saved website and edit it

You can also use Mozillas "Seamonkey"

Have fun :-)

I use Expression Web 4. Only tested so far with html / website templates.

Only problem is design view can be all over the place, however design view can still be used to highlight the code / css you need to work on. In other words highlight what you need in design view - go to code view and the code is highlighted.

The snapshot panel seems to accurately reflect designs and updates each time you save a page. so you can see your design changes pretty quickly.

I have one monitor with ew4 and a second monitor which has the snapshot panel open. - It works for me.

Komposer didn't work well for me. It would distort the buttons and compress everything together. I read that other users had the same issue with SeaMonkey so I didn't try it. I finally found Blue Griffon and it opens the HTML files up perfectly and edits them easily. Although I haven't tried using it for major changes, only text.
