Comments "box" issues

I created a new template with Artisteer 2.5 for WordPress 3.0.1 and have dealt with several issues. Most of them I either resolved or worked around on my own, but this one has me stumped.

I expected the Comments area to be in an actual box (like the quote box for Joomla! or some sort of formatted area as most other templates display them). Instead they show up without any formatting to differentiate the comments from the original post and the header for the comments is the same size as the post header, which makes it look like another post entirely.

In addition to all that, when viewing or posting comments in Internet Explorer the template footer is shifted up the page and overlaps everything in the right sidebar, essentially breaking the template. It does not break in Firefox or Chrome, but there is still absolutely no formatting in the other browsers and the Comments header is the same as in IE.

The only styling I have found for Comments so far is the option to include it in the article footer. There is nothing else in Artisteer to set or manage the comments.

This is interesting since Comments are an integral part of WordPress.

I spent hours going throught the forums and found a few topics loosely related to the Comments but nothing where it actually breaks the template in IE.

How can I fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Here is a link to the page. It illustrates the formatting issue. You will need to view it in IE 7 or 8 to experience the footer issue.
