I have designed the vertical menu to look like the other blocks in my template, but when I upload the template to the live site, it does not look the same.

My module settings are correct and everything is working properly, but there is no padding and the border is missing.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

It should display as you designed in Artisteer if added art-vmenu module class suffix, you should contact Artisteer support with saved .artx file and website URL.

I have the same issue. it looks like it uses the mod main menu, instead of the mod vertical menu that is designed in artisteer.

problem is however i couldn't switch to mod vertical menu as it doesn't exist .

have you found a solution to this?

after some roaming around i found the following solution here in the forum.

You can set module class suffix under: Extensions-> module manager-> Click "main menu"-> on your right click "Advanced Parameters"-> fill art-vmenu in "Module Class Suffix" input box.

The vertical menu does not show eventhough the module class suffix is set to art_vmenu !!

Not on the main-menu either. I want to use it for the Virtuemart module.
But when i use module class suffix is set to art_vmenu in this module, also nothing happens??

Is there someone where it does work and how?

kindly

art_vmenu

is not correct, it's

art-vmenu

So, not with an underscore

@ maurice

Subitems should work as it is, you don't see subitems or they are displaying incorrectly ?

They do not show as in Artisteer. Only the Top 'Vertical Menu' shows but tht items/subitems won't show in the ArtisteerWay. They wil only show in the VMart way…

Maybe a creenshot would help you better…?

The solution for myself was:
Make submenu's in the menumanager. Sounds easy, but i has been forgotten.

So you actually say, that subitems are no longer possible to create on artisteer generated joomla template?

I have created a menu structure like this:
Home
Section1
|_Category1
|_Category1-1
|_Category1-2
Section2
|_Category2
|_Category2-1
|_Category2-2
Section3
|_Category3
|_Category3-1
|_Category3-2

Only items I am able to see in the joomla site (even after adding the art-vmenu module class suffix) are menu items Home, Section1, Section2 and Section3. Even that I click on any menu item that has subitems, the subitem is not shown.

There is really no solution for this?
Thanks for answer

Hi, I had the same problem and I found a solution.

It seems like the standard settings in joomla, when you are using a template from artisteer is to not show subitems.

I did like this:
1. Go to Extensions
2. Choose Module Manager
3. Choose the menu you want to change
4. On the right side under Modul Parameters, click yes there it says "Always show sub-menu Item"

Good luck and excuse my bad english
