Exciting news about the release of 3.0. Will it be for Mac too, or just a PC version.

I've been using 2.5 on the Mac regularly with no problems, but would love to have the new features.

It looks nothing about Linux version as well. :-(

The preview version has been (disappointably) only for PC

I use Artisteer on my Mac as well. Would love to see the V3 beta for Mac OS.

I use Artisteer on a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard. The two issues I've experienced are drop down selectors (e.g. font) coming up blank. Quick fix is to click somewhere else then try again. The other is when changing from one preset (e.g. Joomla) to another (e.g. Drupal) and then back to Joomla after exporting, the export is still set to Drupal. Not a biggee. Just close and restart the app.

Other than that, it's pretty stable for a beta.

From the release info in the news:
(Not sure if they added this after it was initially placed or if it was there from the beginning ! )
cheers Dave
ps Having re-read this, it is somewhat ambiguous!

If I buy the version available, will I be able to currently design sites on my Mac Pro? It doesn't say that it's compatible with OS so I figured I should check first.

I hope the developers will look at Goldfish Pro 3.1, which is what I use now. It allows you to drag and drop the various components of the page such as menu bar, footer, etc. wherever you want.

They could get a lot of great idea from this software.

The main reason I want to move away from Goldfish and to something else is because the developers are located in Germany and support is virtually non-existant.

and many more. Buy it - great value.

I'm sorry, but those sites are nothing to be proud of.

The people I made them for are very happy with them. Numbers 2 and 3 are in very early days. 4 + 5 are personal projects and both unfinished. I wouldn't post finished work here.

Either way, the question was - does the software work on a Mac, and the answer is YES.
