Hi There,

When you say add a logo the top of the header" - do you mean above the Header generated within Artisteer OR within the header.

If within, you simply select the header menu - then in the 'foreground photo's" section, click "from file" & select your local logo and it will be incorporated with the existing header. You will need to make sure the image type is gif or png saved with transparency.

Once it is inserted, you can then click the 'Position' option to resize and move it around!

Also a good way is to design your entire header in a program like PhotoShop and then just use the "From File" option to add it to your theme. This way you have complete control over everything

I think he allready got it. But I'm looking for the same answer. I Also need to add an additional image above the header image, so this probably means some extra line of code has to be added to the css

Hello,

Thank you for your replies!!!

"Grimlocked": Yes I already got it. it does require a bit of playing around and it varies depending on your template. You have to edit the "templatedetails" and add another position ie; <position> LOGO</position> then you have to edit the index php page. Locate where you would like to place the logo in the index page and paste something like: <div id="header2"> <jdoc:include type="modules" name="logo" style="xhtml"/> </div>

I then proceeded to edit the css, i basically copied the header div and named it header2 (which I used in the php)...I then played with the header2 div until i got it how i wanted it (it took me quite a bit since i'm not too good with css).

Hope this helps

Just put the two images together and make one image out of it. Logo with extra image above it. Keep it simple.

Also for above post...
You can save your your new logo+image as a png with alpha to make it transparent.

But I bet you already knew that. 8-)

In some cases inserting logo as background glare/image may also be helpful.

actually just choose your logo as the foreground photo than choose position and it will let you position and size it inside the header if you want it inside the header
