Although Artisteer is a great tool for quickly creating great looking website designs, if you wish to use these designs professionally, there will probably be a need to override some of the generated CSS code from time-to-time. I know I have had this need.

Go to http://phoenixwebsitedesignstudio.com/dnn/TechZone/tabid/695/EntryId/40/Overriding-Artisteer-CSS-in-DotNetNuke.aspx to see how I do this.

Acctually I don't thing smartertools can do much there the site reaaly loads very very slow... so slow I believe the problem is deeper...

Check you event viewer logs, site logs, schedule history...

there's a few table that should be truncated once in a while for best performance... specially the Scheduled history.

But having a keep alive service also helps.. I use an online "monitor" who keep checking the "/keepAlive.aspx" page I even get mails if the page can't be opened gives some time out.

I have my sites hosted so I couldn't install anything on windows, but I'll give a try on that in my local test dnn site!

Try this http://www.iowacomputergurus.com/free-products/dotnetnuke-modules/scheduled-sql-jobs.aspx to keep sql tables less "heavy"

Thanks for the feedback. Try it now. I believe there was a problem with the hosting company. They changed my hosting server and the response seems descent now.
