Has anyone else experienced this problem with trying to save an .artx file? I receive an error message, "Unable to save file into project. File not found." and the program closes down. This means that I cannot modify further the .artx file I am working on.

Hi Dean
Is this saving an existing artx file ? Or when starting a new site ?
Could it possible that you are using Vista or W7 and you are trying to save into a folder in the 'programs' folder or a similar location that by default does not allow saving ?
Also what version of Artisteer are you using.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for helping out.
1. it is saving an existing .artx file
2. using Vista but saving to a folder with the right permissions
3. using the current version of Artisteer.
Technical support just got back to me with what I believe is a patched version which fixed the problem fully. So I was very happy with the turnaround as this was the first time I have had to request support.

Glad you got it sorted and good to hear Artisteer were on the ball - they have been very quiet since 2.4 came out :)

Hello everybody,
I am using the Artisteer for Mac, and I have just installed this program, today when I intended to save into .artx project, it informed me with the same thing that Unable to save file. Please contact the Administrator. Can anybody help me? Thanx a lot

Trial version doesn't have option to save projects as .artx but you'll be able to save and open your projects without any issue after activation.
