Hi to all.
I just bought the full version of Artisteer Standard Edition.

I created a template as simple HTML page. Now, I need to convert it to a WordPress template. How can I do that?

Thank you all.

Hi Alex,

Along the top you will see an 'Export' menu/button
Click the drop down arrow on the right hand side of it.
Then select 'Change Template'
And from there you can select Wordpress.

It's also on the 'Ideas' tab page !

Hi Dan,

You don't upload the artx file - what you do is export the theme as a zip file (for wordpress of course) - then install that in your wordpress admin.
Go to the wordoress codex if you need more help - all the information you need for wordpress management can be found there.

Yes, by mistake you are trying to upload the .artx file instead of your exported Wordpress theme, in Artisteer click export on top, export it as Wordpress theme and upload as following: http://www.artisteer.com/?p=help_wordpress

So when I export an HTML template to a wordpress theme, the layout changes. Will my layout be maintained?

What changes is the content itself. This includes - article area and custom blocks in sidebar and footer. The content in these parts of teh template changes to default, as WordPress doesn't allow to upload the content from outside.
