I know I can "roll my own" with other available menu systems (plugin, etc.) but just curious if I've missed something with Aristeer? Is there a flyout menu for vertical menus, such as the drop downs for horizontal?

Hi Kelley,
Not an option the vertical menu is a new addition, it might be worth a dig into the code.
Love your web-eze site

Thanks David; I'll see what I can come up with. Hey, with a little help from Bud, I got your dual menus working. Here's the site, though it won't be up long (just my playground):

Kelley,
Looks great and nice to get a bit of feedback!
IE is not as happy with the 'left' 'right' two column, FireFox is good though.
Bud is also great and helped me out when I first started, I had never touched php before, finding Bud's website was quite an inspiration and set me off on quite a steep learning curve.
I get stuck for thing to play with so I like to find a couple of topics that have not been resolved, then create a theme around them, good practice for me and putting back some knowledge into the community.
If I had to do it for a living I would starve

Vertical flyout sub menus feature is also in wish list of Artisteer.

I am just started "playing" with Artisteer to see if this is a better alternative as purchasing all kind of Templates which you have to adjust anyway to your own site.
however, the flyout sub menus feature is a must for our webshop.
could anyone tell me where to find this in the code of Joomla templates?
at the moment a trial is running under a free template for joomla, This template does support flyout ( vertical) sub menus
any help would be usefull..

Your best bet is to hit the joomla channel in the forums for that one. GL
