You can't create your own flash backgound. Any flash you import, will replace the entire header. There are many programs to help you in creating flash banners, I highly recommend Aleo Flash Intro Banner Maker.

i know that.. but my doubt was about your example, trasparency and banner size, and why a png and a flash swf toghether..
your raccomandation seem goood!!!!

You can create your own flash background and import it in to artisteer without replacing the entire header. just create your flash header 900x300 and export it with a transparent background. in artisteer go to header/flash "from file" and hay Presto!
