I don't see how Artisteer as a Saas would work, too much effort for too little result!

A number of companies are beginning to develop SaaS versions of their applications including Microsoft and Adobe. It's really a matter of time before SaaS becomes the norm. It would also make Artisteer truly platform agnostic.
Ultimately, the best people to determine whether it's "too much effort for too little result" would be the people behind Artisteer.
