Hi! Happy new year to you all!

I need some help with the articles' format. Although I have configured it several times and looks ok in Artisteer, the spacing for the first line of blog entries is extremely close to the header (which is ackward). You can see what I mean here: http://crisontheroad.blogspot.com. Could you please tell me how to add more space, so that the text is not so close to the header? Thanks!

Apart from that, I've noticed that the date is still there even though the date box is not checked in the template. Maybe Blogger adds it by default, but I would like to remove it and don't know how (the control panel only allows you to choose the date format, but not to remove it). Thanks again for your help!

As you can see, I have no idea of HTML code... :-( (that's why I got the Artisteer license) :-)

@Cris

I don't see any date boxes in your template at all. if you mean you want to remove them from the actual HTML code even if they are not being shown. You need find the date timestamps in the HTML code box and remove only those but i don't see the point if you have set it so they don't show anyway. you may only mark them out via a "*/ " in the code at most if you really must.

about your article text issue, that is in Artisteer.

Articles tab > Styling >Text padding

select 10

and if you want to even it out even more in the same module

Articles tab > Styling > Margin

select 10 or at least 5.

That should solve your issue.

Thanks, Avatar X! (Muchas gracias!) I managed to remove the date from the HTML code by myself yesterday afternoon.

With respect to styling, I tried with both padding and margin, but it didn't work. I also tried the following:

Articles tab > Line spacing > more options > paragraph tab > spacing before: 24 pixels.

That worked fine with the second, third, etc. paragraphs, except for the first paragraph (the first line was always too close to the post header). I read somewhere that this had something to do with HTML code, which does not recognize any spacing at the beginning or end of posts.

This morning, I noticed that posts with a picture didn't have any problem with spacing, so I tried something that works fine with me (even though this got to be the most "unprofessional" solution ever) ;-) I added a picture to posts, then removed it, but without editing the HTML code. Once the picture is removed, there's still a HTML code there that makes the trick for me :-)

Thanks again!

That is weird. try this:

Go to your blog dashboard:

Settings > Formating > Convert Line Breaks

Change it from Yes to No and take a look at it.

Very important that you are looking at it twice. One in IE8 and one in Firefox or chrome.

See if that works.

Y pues de nada.
