Hello.

I have a problem installing the layout on blogspot.

It says this:

Quote :
We were unable to save your template Please correct the error below, and submit your template again. Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog.

I did upgrade my template thing so...

I wanted to see what it looks like on the website before I buy it.
I managed to get on layout somehow. Have no idea how. It just worked once.
But the header was gone and so was everything else, even the colours.
The background was green, but that was just one colour I used somewhere.

I did Export Template.
Layout - Edit HTML - Browse - Upload (main.xml)
And then it looks like the one I posted.

The uploading is fine now, it´s just the look. I don´t get error messages, but I definitely want to get it to look normal. How do I know for sure that it´ll work nicely when I buy it? I´ve tried with different layouts and one´s worse than the other.

The way you have done, only the HTML code has been uploaded but the images in the images repertory have not been uploaded to Blogger (Picasa) or anywhere else accessible from the Internet.

You must put the images somewhere - for example on Picasa (free), ImagesShack, Flickr, a FTP account, etc. and then correct the url for the images in the XML file to indicate their location on the web before uploading it. The XML is an ordinary ascii text file that can be modified using a text editor such as NotePad, WordPad, etc.

The feature "Publish Template to Blogger" (instead of exporting to HTML) of Artisteer can do this automatically but I don't know if it's part of the trial.

I created a BLOGGER template using Artisteer and installed it, but after uploading I get an error message saying

Warning: Your new template does not include the following widgets:

* Image1
* Text1
* Followers1

Would you like to keep these widgets on your blog or delete them?
Deleting widgets cannot be undone.
Keep Widgets
Delete Widgets
Cancel

According to help file located @ http://www.artisteer.com/?p=help_blogger, which instructed to ignore the error message but the error message won't let me navigate to my dashboard so I can upgrade the template because the TEMPLATE LINK is not visible in EDIT HTML LINK. Please someone help

Dont worry, It will not work. Artisteer is dead, leaving people over to nothing. They don't update their desktop or artisteer software anymore. There are many issues on making blogger templates and Artisteer. Themler does not support blogger!
