I have created other blogger templates and uploaded them without issue so I'm not sure what's happening here:

1. Under Artisteer export options for Blogger, I am getting only these oiptions:
-Show Top Navbar (yes/no)
-Show Home Item (yes/no)
-Home Item Caption
-Hosting Service

I am not getting any place to add ftp details.

2. When I export the blogger template and manually upload to Blogger, I am getting the following error message:

"We were unable to save your template
Please correct the error below, and submit your template again.
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog."

I cannot bypass this to save it anyway - it refuses to save. Advice appreciated!!!

Hi Kerry,

Suggest you create a new 'Case' via the Support link on the left.

I guess no other Blogger user has come across your issue.

regards, Dave

Hi Kerry,

Have you tried selecting "FTP Server" from the "Hosting Service" list? You should see additional options displayed after that.

2. Artisteer creates XML templates thus make sure you are not trying to install them as Classic Templates.

Just an additional guide to those unfamiliar with xml template installation: in your Blogger admin area select Layout -> Edit HTML -> click Browse to select an Artisteer-generated main.xml file and click "Save Template" button.

Hope it was helpful.
