You are talking about vertical menus which is not possible in Artisteer. Many people like myself has suggested that, so hopefully it will be integrated, specially for the html templates. Once they do that, CMSs like QuickerSite will become even better.

I don't think we're talking about 'Vertical Menus' at all! More like Buttons in place of ugly standard links..

I too am really puzzled how to accomplish this task using Artisteer without having to learn how to manipulate the code.. I mean the buttons are specified in CSS, but for some reason links within blocks show up as regular links n ot buttons..

Ok am really ready to be clued in on this cryptic secret....

If you are just talking about using buttons for the menu items, there are modules that will do that for you. One example you might try is 'Main Menu Images': http://www.dart-creations.com/joomla/joomla-modules/joomla-main-menu-images-module.html. I have not tried it myself, but it looks like it will do what you want.

There are also other accordion menu modules and things like that that should work for you. Search http://extensions.joomla.org.

addition to my previous post. I was assuming using Joomla. Of course, that wouldn't work if you are not using Joomla. Sorry.
