How to get SOLID COLOR or simple effects for HEADER |

Hi,
Used Artisteer 1.0 for a handful of sites and enjoy very much - looking forward to using 2.0.
Starting a new project in 2.0 and want a SIMPLE SOLID COLOR HEADER. However, I can't seem to get rid of the complex weird effects. The more I try to turn off all the effects, the worse it looks. I have the rest of the template looking great, but can't get this simple thing.
Any tips appreciated.
Thank you!

I guess, more specifically, there's a header color and a color behind the header text within a block of the header. Adjusting either color, affects the other and I can't figure out how to get them to match.
As is, with all effects turned off, I get a block of color (for the text background) inside of the header color.
I can adjust the main header color somewhat via the Colors and Fonts tab and adjust the text background on the Header tab under the Text Font background. But, even if I pick the exact same color for both, they don't match. The Background picture color also affects this "mix" even if there's no picture being used.

I ran into this today too as I was building my first template...what you have to do is set the effect transparency to 100%, then the contrast to 0%. At least this is what worked for me. I had to tinker around with it for awhile before it worked though. Good luck.
