Hi, I'm considering using Artisteer for Drupal. Before even download the trial, I'd like to evaluate the code it generates. Can some of you post some links to Drupal sites using themes generated by Artisteer?

thanks marcel. Unfortunately the forum is not an integral part of Drupal. It is Simple Machine Forum.

hi,

just had a play with the demo. looks like a useful tool. think I will get it. I'd say the example sites above are more a reflection of the design skills of the creators than the software, no offence intended. (did seem to be an issue with css though. the background image width seems to be set to 100% page width, but when the window is less than the layout width and you scroll to the right, the background image isn't there. the fix is to make the min-width at least as big as the layout width... ) I wonder how it works with Ubercart?

@kevin sorry kevin, logo on http://www.batman-trailer.com/ just sucks.
Pager on the bottom is not visible enough. I believe it is not the final product. :-/

Whats wrong with the logo, Ive had a lot of drupal people give applause on the banner/logo (not offended just curious, everyone has their tastes.) Ya the pager is pretty light. I actually don't really want it their so the intention is not for people to click on it, just want google to be able to crawl a little easier. You think I should get rid of the pager and just use a site map?

What wrong is the clipping path. Can't you see that? PNG is badly cut out. You can do better.

Hi bhd,

Sorry about the delay. Thanks for the comment on www.sackvillechiropractic.ca I ended up creating a non-header theme and then used various banners on select pages to have the effect of a banner. As far as the rotate function I purchased an XML driven banner rotator/creator from www.flashden.net and then built the banner.

As far as the image intensive site I don't like the approach either but the graphic artist i worked with was insistent on having a certain look, and using font s that i know might be problematic. As a result we settled on this approach and i tried to create the best descriptions possible for the images. As I get better with various aspects of Drupal I may go back to see if I can't re-create the look with views and existing blocks.

How are these two sites doing the sliding effect?
What modules?

It looks like the 'Dynamic Display Block' module.

Here's a site that I registered yesterday and started developing this morning. I've spent about 4 hours on it so far and won't be spending any more time on it until tomorrow (at the earliest).

It's an Artisteer community site.

Well, there are a couple that look pretty good, but overall Artisteer should really put together an Examples or Gallery with links showcasing web sites for Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress. At $149, they need more than hype and rhetoric to get me to whip out my credit card.

Here is my site, made with Artisteer.. Also, the themes I have created are available as downloads in the general discussion forums. NOTE: There is a text file as well for fixing the issue with bullets not appearing in forum posts on there as well.

It's very, very, difficult to read that blue writing on a dark background. Also, I'd consider changing the font to a sans-serif one.

Also, you login boxed is HUGE. It looks misplaced there.

I admit the logon area needs to get moved back to the left sidbar. Was in a rush to get the site back online and misplaced the login block when I reinstalled.

As for the colors, what blue on black are you referring to? The only place I see a light blue on black is the block titles, and on all of my monitors I've viewed it on its still clearly readable.. Not trying to complain, just want to know if that's the same area your referring to, so I know which to lighten a little more.
