 I created a standard edition, not knowing that it is more expensive than the home edition. There should be a way to change back to home edition, but my question is...will everything still be in tact and be charged lesser rather than the $129.?
Or is there even a way to change the edition without losing everything that i created? Thanks for the responses in advance.

You will have less features in the Home edition,so some of the templates you have created may not be as adjustable as they were if you downgrade.

 Thank you Marc! So all the underlined names like yourself is a Artisteer customer? I noticed I'm one of the few black font guys ha.

The underlines on the names is just showing the thread has responses, as opposed to a thread that has no responses yet.
There is no secret clique in the Artisteer world
