How Do You Start With A Clean Page?

I am trying to figure out this program, and so far all I'm figuring out that you can do is work with "suggested" designs.....

I want to start with a clean page with no design on and build a template totally from scratch. How do you make the program start with a clean page instead of the typical template that loads when you first open the program or without having to hit the suggest button over and over again trying to find something suitable to build from?

You would think that for 100 bucks or even 50 bucks that this would be something you could figure out how to do without having to ask on a message board.

David,

The software does not function that way. You choose a template type that you want to start with, and it gives you a design that you can then do anything you want to.

You can have it give you additional sugestions as well, which in many cases, gives you design elements you might not have thought of.

Would it be nice to start with a bare theme or have that option? Yes, and it has been suggested before.

As of right now, the software does not have that functionality.

David - I think you're missing the point of the program. You don't have to hit a "suggest" button at all. You can totally ignore it. Just go thru the top menu left to right and create the template you want.

Also, your complaint is contradictory. You want to design a template from a blank page, yet you turn around and say you going to go buy a template. What do you want to do. Create your own? (no?), or use someone elses.

Learn how to use Artisteer "properly" before you abandon it. The IS a learning curve!

It seems that David would do much better, if he would just keep making hats...

Speaking of which. David, could you do a hat for me? I'd like it to be able to make money, turning itself to a dancing baboon to entertain me and of course there should be option to turn the whole thing to a monster truck.

I presume that would be ready in ten minutes? Free of charge of course. ;-)
