Hey Darrell

Support for any product comes if you ask nicely too...And let me say upfront that I have nothing to do with the software or it's development, I am a user like you.

I for one find this product to be a godsend for quickly being able to layout/mockup a site in Joomla or Wordpress.

My clients are amazed at what I can do...not knowing of course the brilliant software of Artisteer is behind it.

Now as to your specific question...It may well be that you have not setup the homepage of your blog correctly...I have never had a problem in this regard...try reading the What is and isn't of this product and instead of whinging and moaning...actually READ SOME DOCUMENTATION.

Cheers

There are posts i thisforum dealing with the HOME button. The HOME button takes you back to the HOME page in Wordpress.

So, create a few more pages, go to them then click on the home button and it takes you back to the front page.

So, it works the way it's supposed to. Of couse, if you have no other pages, it's only going to reload the page you are on, so it won't look it did anything.

Thanx for your motivational speech. I have read the documents and know more than the average bear about WordPress, CSS and theme design. But this problem, I fixed. The problem was that the program exported it incorrectly and I needed to export it again, to correct the issue.

Because you have never had a problem, does not mean that others can't have them. But being the "expert", you should understand that. How did I not ask nicely in my original post??

If you can't contribute to solving the issue, then why are you here, flapping your gum's??

Assumption here is presumptuous. Assuming this was an end-user issue, was the first mistake. But having said that, maybe I need to be more specific when submitting a post. I will think twice before submitting another.

That doesn't tell us anything, first off.

Secondly, Artisteer, depending on the design and settings, will create a default HOME button.

When you upload that to Wordpress and you have no other pageson the screen and you are ON the home page, you click it and it *will do* nothing since you are already on the HOME page.

As far as I can tell from your original post, you weren't on another page, you didn't say what you expected the home page button to do when you clicked it, no details other than to say "it did nothing".

So, what did you expect it to do?

Yes, you are correct Marc, it is my fault for not explaining the situation more precisely. I had other pages set up and when I was on another page and clicked the home button, it would not go to the home page, but refreshed the page that I was on.

Again, this was my fault for not explaining my issue more succinctly.

As an aside, this is a pretty cool piece of software, that automates things for me when designing my customers sites. Nice work.

Darrell :-)

I believe that if you don't have a page named HOME, the button will do nothing.

However, I never use the button and remove it since I know I can.
