No Vertical Movement of Foreground Image A2

I was all set to use Artisteer 2 to create a new Drupal theme. Then I realized that there weren't any changes to Drupal support, since the last release, which didn't work properly.

Then I tried to create a new WP theme, which I know A2 does beautifully. While I was working with a foreground image, I noticed that there is only lateral adjustments available for foreground image positioning. The image is locked on a horizontal plane, relative to the bottom of the header.

Is that by design, or is there a bug in the system?

I have the same Problem. I Think it is a bug,
because it works fine in the prev. Version.
Any Solutions?

Hello,

We apologize for this problem as it indeed slipped through the cracks. We were able to resolve it during product announcement and replace version 2.0 on our Website. The current, correctly working Artisteer version is 2.0.2.15338. Please check your product version and re-download again if needed.

Correction:

It doesn't work on themes created while the function wasn't working. On new themes, it seems to work.

I'm having the same problem, but not consistently. I've only ever used 2.0.2.15338, and on some themes the foreground photo it locked to the bottom of the header, and on others it is able to move to any position. I'm not sure why, but I think sometimes when a header layout is "suggested" then the photo gets locked to the bottom.

Just a followup, this seems to be fixed in the latest 2.1 beta. But if you're experiencing this problem here's a work around:

Select one of the Foreground Photos from the "Art" category. These can be positioned anywhere. Then go back and choose your own photo "From file..." and it should be freely positioned anywhere in the header.

Hope this helps.
