I like this program, but I noticed, that the css doesn´t work in my component Impressum (http://friseur-rossbach.de/) and also if I don´t want to show the headline of a article - always the header is shown as a line (like the first site of my website).

Any ideas ?

Dirk,
have you tried to suppress the article Header block in Artisteer? Please open the Articles section -> Header -> Header Layout -> No Block. It should do the trick.

Hi Ellin,

thank you for the tip. It works - but I hope in the future it also works with the possibility of using blocks.

Only the look of the components are not correct. I don´t know why, but the component Impressum don´t have the look like the articles (you can see at my website s.above) - I tested it with the regular template of Joomla 1.5 and there it works - so it depends from Aristeer.
Greetings

To "not" show an article headline, you can control that at the article level under the Advanced Parameters = Show Title. Just select: NO.

The name of that article as a headline will not appear on the article page.

In additional, third party plugins for Joomla either use their own CSS file or use Joomla CSS tags - which have certain names.

Artisteer uses its own naming convention, so a third party extension looking for "joomla named tags" won't find them and visually the results may not be proper. Those corrections need to be performed on an extension by extension bassi.

What is an "extension bassi"?
I like Artisteer very much, but the "extension Problem" seems to be the biggest problem for me. One of the biggest benefits of Joomla! are the huge amount of extensions (components). But Artisteer is cruddy, if there is no "easy" way to use them. The time you save in creating a template will be nothing in common with the components adjustments.
Can you give me a hint for an easy way that can solve this problem?
Or do you plan a "Pro Version" where you have more options?
I´m looking forward to an answer.

This needs to be corrected. The use of " its own naming convention" for the css greatly reduces the value of this product. Many 3rd party extensions rely on the Joomla css for styling.

I AGREE - Artisteer needs to use the Joomla naming conventions for Joomla templates so that third party extensions have a better chance of working with the templates. This failure to do so could be why I am having a problem with a module in the Hot Property extension. Although I assign this module to user3, it will not display correctly as a horizontal menu. (I have created a separate thread for this problem). The Hot Property Extension module displays correctly with Beez,, milkyway and a number of other templates. It is only with the Artisteer generated template that I run into problems.
