Hello - I've gone through the forums and have been looking on how to change the footer so that it is the same every time I use Artisteer. I read talk about the 'assembly' files and about how to change it individually with each website. BUT what ASSEMBLY file in order to change it just once and every site I create afterwards will have this footer. Where is this elusive 'assembly' file and what is it's name? Any help?

After you have exported in whatever format you have chosen, go to the template's index page and change the footer however you want - assuming that you are talking about changing the text that is added by Artisteer, yes?
The foot info on the index page is just above the </html></body> tags on the page.
The footer content, per se, cannot be changed within the Artisteer program itself - nor can any of the text names, etc.

Assembly file - that is a term I use, not an official Artisteer term.
Under Program Files/Artisteer(version) Library \Data\Templates\WordPress\Export\Files
there are files that are used to 'assemble' the finished themes (this example is for WordPress).
If you make edits to these files, those edits will appear in every theme you export.
IMPORTANT - If you don't back up your files and are not VERY careful, you CAN and WILL break your ability to export WordPress themes.
Editing these files should only be done by those who understand how this code works and are familiar with editing PHP and CSS files. this is NOT something for a novice or beginner to do.
