Headline / Slogan Not showing -

However - when I create a Headline and Slogan and place it on the screen it looks great! I preview in the browser and it looks great. BUT when I export as a wordpress or HTML the Headline or Slogan does not appear...? What the?.. it shows when I load to my themes folder on the server in Design / Themes / Current theme the icon which shows BUT when I activate - nothing... Is there something I'm missing?
