An Artisteer Users Group (AUG) is in the organization stages.
<br/><br/>
You can sign up to be added to an email list to receive information about the AUG at this link:
<br/><br/>
<a href="http://artisteerusersgroup.org">www.artisteerusersgroup.org</a>
<br/><br/>
A survey is being prepared to gather information about the use of Artisteer and several other member profile questions so a future course for the AUG can be planned and implemented.
<br/><br/>
While the AUG is an “Unofficial” users group, it is being organized with permission from Artisteer, who has approved this posting and use of the “Artisteer” name and the AUG logo design.
<br/><br/>
The AUG offices can be contacted at 1+ 704-209-3364 / 200mph Media Group, LLC in North Carolina/USA, or via the email form on the website.

I think the most wanted item would be a proper forum with membership,
sticky posts etc and it would make a great resource for hints and tips.

Richard: That is something we can install at the AUG which would be a great help to everyone - we'll explore that over the next several days and post information here when it is available.

Is this still in pre-launch?

AUG is still in the organizing stages. We are working on two items: 1) a survey to assess membership composition/interest, and 2) a formal phpBB3 bulletin board operation.

Information on availability will be posted here when access is available.

User groups are often very useful and productive and I would be willing to participate.

At the same time, I firmly believe that Extensoft really needs to add a "real forum" here as well. After all the first place anyone will try to look for help and support will be the products home page.

Already I have seen a few posts here that have nothing to do with the templating functions of Artisteer, but more to do with the functions of the system someone is using. This is where a user group comes in to fill those gaps and let users share their experiences and solutions.
