If I create a theme for wordpress, and set the header title alignment to left / center or right artisteer creates the theme using pixel positioning for the blog title and blog description.

If you then change the description of the blog and it was centered in the header in the theme, the text is no longer centered.

More importantly, if you do not know the length of the title or description in the header, e.g. you are creating a theme than others can use, it becomes even more of an issue.

Can you change artisteer to have a mode where it makes the containing div fit the whole header title area defined and then postion the text divs using css aligment rather than pixel.

Hello Lummie,
Did you change blog's description in WP admin area? I created a WP Theme with centered "Headline"(blog title) and "Slogan"(blog description) in Artisteeer 2.0 Beta and then modified these settings in WP. The blog title and description are left centered for me.
In Artisteer I used the Header section-> Title Style -> Align option.

Version 2 works a treat, Fantastic!

However, a nice enhancement would be to be able to turn off the Headline and Slogan, so if I have used a picture with the title as the background or foreground image than it would omit the php for adding the Headline and Slogan

Version 2 looks fantastic guys.....
