Hi all, I created this great page using artisteer and love the program. But for some reason the right sidebar doesnt sit right on the index page in Internet Explorer and sometimes Maxthon browser. Works fine in safari and firefox though. you can check out the page: www.sparkboxshow.com
the REALLY weird thing is that is that the about page and other pages than the index page format just fine in Internet Explorer. Has anyone else had this problem?
I've tried removing the login widget and playing with adding / removing "</div>"s etc. And its making me want to pull my hair out. Eh well maybe I wouldnt go that far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i thought about the size of the images too. For a while I told everyone they had to use smaller ones in the beginning til I was sure about the formatting with the new theme. But it seems independent since I started using the theme when we were all using much smaller images. When they are too big they seem to just cross borders without affecting formatting. I thought maybe it was in the navigation class call, but messing with that hasn't done anything beneficial. It wouldnt be a problem, since everyone knows IE is screwy, but half of our visitors are blindly using that browser meaning they think that the page is just cheap and badly formatted when thats not the case.

But you didn't answer my question... if you remove that first post, does everything line back up again?

If it does, then there is something funky with that one post.... although viewing the post singularly seems to work.

If you remove it and it still is haywire, then it is the CSS... and I think I might have the code to fix it... I will have to locate it, it's somewhere here in the forum.

I'm not sure this will work, but you can give it a try... I suspect the CSS is having an issue and since the sidebar appears to push to the bottom of the first post, this code *may* help

.postmetadata {
text-decoration: none;
clear: both;
}

sorry about that. yeah I tried removing the first post and no change. It's been messed up like that since I started using the new theme I created about a month ago.(and for whatever reason, only IE messes it up)
Thanks for the code snippet, I tried it and it made the right siderbar look like it was more right justified in the column, but no change in vertical position. If you can think of anything else, I will gladly accept any suggestions and try it out.

Hello Frostsand,

As I see you managed to fix the problem.

Just wondering: what was the cause of it? Was it the content used on the page, as Marc suspected? Or was the issue related to the Artisteer-generated template?

Thanks for sharing.
