In fact: you would need an army of programmers so support all CMS's out there and their fast update cycles. Consider Drupal i.e. - they change their themes API all the way! Are you willing to support that? Bad idea, if you would ask me.
You should concentrate on wahat you can: design creation. Great solution! Really a revolution!!
So define an interface where PHP scripts can hook in and let the CMS adaptions be made by the community.
Otherwise you will be never ready and will having people always claiming: why the hell not my important CMS!!

I think gryzzly is right. Too many Content Management Systems out there to support.

At least I suggest that Artisteer can be customized this way: create an option "Path to php.exe". After exporting a theme let always look for a "customize.php" file in the themes parent directory automatically. If it exist, then execute the script.
Then create a forum: Custom Scripts. Then look what happens.
