I am very angry! Artisteer has the FAQs for Joomla (CMS) changed! That is not fair. The customers would be informed. This is a bad deal!

Why are you angry?

Would you prefer to get software that doesn't work? Give them time to get the software right, it takes time to develop new features... and when dealing with templates as complext as Joomla or Drupal, you have to be sure the code for the templates works right, otherwise your site could go down.

Would you like that better?

The new FAQ says, "we expected to support Joomla any day now, and possibly Drupal as well - as a free upgrade to the Artisteer Standard edition. We also plan on supporting Blogger, SharePoint and other CMS systems in 2009."

Why would that make you angry? I do not recall them mentioning Blogger and SharePoint suport before.

Enough angry! The discussions in this forum are slow cheeky. I stop it. We can not change anyway. I am pleased now to the Joomla update and am keen!

Starmike: you are totally correct. Too much negativeisms over an outstanding product with loads of potential.

The developers, I am sure, are doing what is necessary to deliver a good JOOMLA plugin, so let's encourge people to stop complaining and let the developers do their work.

I doubt if they are sitting at their computers with their feet up and playing video games!!!!

I agree with Herb200mph (how fast is that in km :-D?)

Nevertheless, some of us might have purchased Artisteer to gain revenue. Potential clients are put "on hold" at the risk of losing their business.
Wouldn't it be nice to have an ETA?
I plan to attend the ICCM Europe conference early february and want to do a small presentation on Artisteer there. It would be nice to be able to show the Joomla plugin, which could generate some business for Artisteer as well.

I feel bad for those who planned to use this software and made promises to customers based on a feature set that doesn't exist.

However, doing that is a dangerous propostitionin the first place.

I never ever promise a customer I can do something without having 6 ways to do it, let alone based on something I don't have in my hands and haven't used or tested yet.

Point taken. Don't worry, no solid promises were made.
Still, is an ETA too much to ask?;-)
