Hello,

Please note that couple users reported that the icon "PostEditIcon.png" is missing from exported Joomla templates, which may cause an error when installing such template.
Our developers need to confirm this problem and we may update the Beta2 version again on Monday if needed. And we are awaiting such initial feedback before sending email announcement about v2 Beta2.

Paul Hudson

Just bought the package - it is
great.

Joomla export does not put css and js files in appropriate folders though. This upsets Joomla if you go into Joomla Admin's template mgr and try to edit css. I know, since it is my code I can use this fabulous new program to change it but it really should match the Joomla format.

Congratulations! The Beta 2 is excellent! This is a step further. For Joomla it would be advantageous if the module positions are elected or are to be seen, even in the backend.

Thank you and keep it up!

The beta 2 version works perfect but when i open an file made with the first beta version it gives the message thats the template is build with an older version and it will opened in compatiblity mode. That's no problem but this template gives a problem when i upload it to the website.

Joomla gives a error on the default.php

you're right. It appears that templates produced with 2.0 Beta and version 1.0 are not fully compatible.
However I wonder what error you get on PHP page?

- Exported Wordpress themes are internationalized and available in French, German, Italian and Spanish, with additional languages available from Wordpress Website...

- New Export options for specifying template name, version and author. Also an option for custom watermarks is provided if you are creating temporary templates for review by your customers and want to use our built in protection mechanism.

Congratulations! This is really good news for me. Thanks guys, you are really taking into account your users suggestions. Keep the good work! Downloading...

This is the message that appears after making the template the default in Joomla.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /home/users/vaneyftp/vandoleweerd.nu/templates/testvoorartisteer/html/mod_mainmenu/default.php on line 115

Please note that the Beta 2 version was updated today to version 2.0.2.14734 to resolve several initial problems discovered by your testing:
- missing "PostEditIcon.png" in exported Joomla templates.
- program crash when creating CodeCharge Studio template (for Web development)
- a few other crashes

One of remaining problems are compatibility issues with Google Chrome Web browser when selecting basic content blocks without block header. (selecting any block style with header resolves this problem)

We would also like to ask you to submit any found issues to support@artisteer.com, preferrably with sample projects and URLs for our review.

The Beta2 download link has not changed and remains http://www.artisteer.com/?p=download_v2beta2

Thank you,

Paul Hudson

To Erwin:

Have you tried re-generating your template on the latest Beta? Do you still have the same error?

Please post line 115 and nearby code lines from your default.php file here for us to take a look. Maybe we'll have some ideas.

Thank you.

Caroline.

To Caroline:

This is line 115 in the default.php

$GLOBALS['menu_showSubmenus'] = ;

Caroline,

What do you mean with re-generating?
Build the template again or open the older version and export it again.

This last option gives the error on the default.php
When i remake the template the problem is gone but that's not what we want isn't? ;-)

Hi Erwin,

By regenerating I meant opening the .artx file in the latest Beta update and re-exporting the Joomla template.

The default.php code you mentioned looks incorrect. The value should be either true or false depending on the option you selected under Menu > Styling > Levels.

Please try reselecting this option or exporting your template again.

Or simply change the default.php code manually setting:

$GLOBALS['menu_showSubmenus'] = true;

or

$GLOBALS['menu_showSubmenus'] = false;

It should help.

Caroline.

Hi,

If you want personnalyze size Header or sheet, it's didn't work, only if you choice the "predefine" size.

I've changed the line and the problem was fixed but when i make a new template and export it, the same problem appears to be in the default.php

I tried to regenerate as you told and that may seems fix the problem too.

Thanx.

Just downloaded the Beta 2 Version last night and working on creating a Wordpress theme earlier today. Saved the file.

Tried to open the file again. Tells me "Unable to Open File". Any ideas? I've been using this since V1.

Thanks!
